Where They're Twins

Both are large, slow-maturing, winter-coated family cats: gentle with children, tolerant of dogs, adaptable to apartments with serious vertical territory, and screened for the same headline condition (HCM) in responsible breeding.

The Real Differences

Sociability dial. The Maine Coon follows you, comments on proceedings, and plays fetch — the more interactive companion.
